Not only does Dr.Dykes spend a lot of time explaining all procedures to the parents, but also is great with the kids. The office is newly constructed with a hillcountry modern theme and fully digital. The extra attention to detail and comfortable office environment really help to set this offce apart from all the others. Parents are welcome to come back to the treatment area or can wait in the spacious reception area while enjoying a complimentary beverage from the refreshment bar. The younger siblings can even play their favorite Wii or playstation game while waiting for big brother or sister to finish up. There are also a variety of books to read in the reception area and all the popular magazines for light reading. I have a lot of anxiety about dentists. However my son asked to see an orthodontist about straightening his teeth. Dr Dykes was very personable and my son and I warmed right up to him. He was patient, kind, and answered all of our questions while easing our nervousness. I felt like he was an honest doctor. He informed us that my son wouldn't need braces for another year and sent us on our way. I really appreciate that he was honest about the work we needed and when we would need it. I dread doctors offices but our visit to Dr. Dykes felt more like a field trip than a doctors visit. His staff is just as nice as he is. They treated my son like a respectful young man. They asked him questions directly and took his answers seriously. While they are gentle, they never babied him. He was just as pleased as I am with this office and I can't be happier that they are in Lakeway. They have video games in the waiting room but the staff got us back to the exam room so quickly that we didn't get the chance to play them which was fine with me!I found Dr Dykes because he donated a $250 gift certificate to the Elementary School Carnival. I bid on the gift certificate and won!

Dr. Dykes is a true professional! He provided me with a pain-free exam and follow-up, and told me exactly what he was doing throughout each step. His office is super nice, with state of the art equipment as well as tv's and games for kids. I also enjoyed the appointment-making process and how he utilizes email, web, and reminders.He also has great staff who I found to be very helpful. Definitely recommend Dr. Dykes!

I was having an issue with my Invisalign and Dr Dykes came to my rescue! He addressed my concerns and put me at ease! Anna (office Manager) is personable and a great asset to Dr Dykes and his practice. I hear great reviews from other patients of Dr Dykes and I refer as many people as possible to Lakeway Orthodontics. His office is gorgeous and decorated very tastefully. He has big screen t.v.'s in the treatment area. Very relaxing and a huge plus! Thanks Dr Dykes for everything!
