Amy Urban, DMD, welcomes you to Urban Dentistry in South Congress Pennfield Center. Featuring a relaxed setting, groovy ambiance, and stellar service.Dr. Urban graduated from Kansas State University in 1993 with a BS in biology. She received her DMD in 1999. She worked as a dentist in Portland, OR after graduating from dental school. Urban Dentistry welcomed her first patient in June 2003. Her practice is a reflection of her; it is unique and exudes professionalism while providing a relaxing ambiance.Dr. Urban is an outdoor enthusiast as well as animal lover. She has three dogs and two sugar gliders. When she isnt swimming, running, doing yoga or working in the yard, she is enjoying her South Austin home with her family. Dr. Urban is passionate about dentistry and meticulous about her work. Cosmetic dentistry is a large part of her practice, however, she is vigilant about teaching prevention in her practice. She wants to empower her patients through education while providing exemplary service and care. Once you have met Dr. Amy Urban, she is hard to forget.

Patient Review 1:
Dr. Urban is the best dentist I've ever seen. She explains everything to you, consults with specialists, and even researches particular issues you may have. For example, she had a difficult time numbing my mouth, which every dentist I've ever seen has had trouble doing. None of the other dentists were curious about why, let alone interested in finding out so that I could have pain free dental work. Dr. Urban researched the problem and discovered what was happening. Now she has no problem numbing me. She has done cleanings, root canals, mouth guards, and crowns. She identified why I was having so many dental issues--something no other dentist has bothered with. She keeps very current on tech. She loves her work, is very intelligent, and is concerned about her patients. She calls to check on you. She is also fun, making visits to her office something to look forward to. When you first see her, you may be a little surprised by her wackiness and wonder if you should let this person put sharp instruments in your mouth. Don't let her wackiness fool you, she knows her stuff and will make sure you are pain free and have a healthy, beautiful set of teeth without sending you to the poor house. And you'll leave very impressed.
