Dr. Monts is the very best!!!! Last week I woke up with an infection above a tooth that had a root canal at least 10 years ago and my doctor recommended me to see Dr. Monts. They would've seen me that same day but I couldn't go that day. I went in yesterday and everyone in the office is very professional and nice. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and was very worried about having any type of work done but as soon as I sat down on the chair he explained everything to me and put my mind at ease. I love the fact that I could watch ESPN while he was performing the procedure. I have to go back to finish the procedure and actually look forward to it. The assistant Nicoleta uses grape scented gloves which made it easy on the nose too. As soon as I got out of the office, I called my husband to tell him that Dr. Monts would be the one performing his root canals as well. I didnt know which star to put under cost because I don't know where he ranks in price but I do have to say that I would gladly pay anything that my insurance doesnt in order for him to treat me again. Highly recommend him to anyone!!!

I had a root canal done MANY years ago by another dentist; apparently part of the root was left & had become infected. My Prosthodontist referred me to Dr. Monts.His staff was so friendly and helpful ~ they worked me in the same day.Dr. Monts is a perfectionist; which is absolutely what you want in an Endodontist!

Customer Service like your an all-star!!I am actually not a patient of Dr Monts, even better, I'm a dentist. I have a practice in Dallas and had a patient that was in Austin for business, when he was woken with a terrible tooth ache. I called Dr. Monts' office and was treated so efficiently by his office staff. They contacted my patient for me and got him in with in the hour!!! My patient and his wife called back to thank me for the referal saying how thorough Dr Mont was and how comfortable he made my patient feel. Dr Mont also called me following this apointment to keep me updated on the condition of my patient. What a class act, our profession is lucky to have a guy like this!

Dr. Monts is EXCELLENT. I don't think there could be anyone better and im not being biased. I was involved in a freak accident wich resulted in me needing a number of root canals, 10 to be exact. After hearing everyones horror stories about their root canals, I was expecting a very painful ordeal, but what I recieved from Dr. Monts was just the opposite. He performed 10 root canals with no pain. Let me repeat that incase you didnt get it the first time NO PAIN. I went right back to work after each of them. He and his staff are awesome.

You will LOVE this dentist..He is very attentive & works on you in a painfree status. I can highly recommend this Endodontist!! I woke up with a badly infected tooth during the night., by which no pain medicines were helping. I called their office at 8 am, at which time they told me to immediately drive over & I would be worked in. After filling out a minimal amount of paperwork, I was immediately put into a chair, given novacaine to reduce my pain and gas upon request. 2 Exrays were taken and then a root canal followed. Dr. Scott Monts gave me an almost pain free root canal treatment. His techniques were both gently and skillful. Moreover, he and his entire staff handled my tooth emergency efficiently & effectively. Overrall completion time: in 2 1/2 hours, even without an appointment. EXCELLENT ...I RATE HIM A 5 STAR DENTIST. Marcia Ryberg, Round Rock TX
