I have just found Dr Mannem! I am a converted dental phobe. I have been lucky to finally find a dentist who has a great personality as well as a great dental staff! I have seen Dr Mannem's hygienist and also have developed a great deal of trust with her dental assistant. I have never been to a dental office where movies and headphones are available. The atmosphere is EXACTLY like a spa and the Lakeway office is very relaxing. The staff, as well as Dr Mannem are very nice and IF all dentists treated their patients the way Mannem Dentistry, there would not be such a fear of dentistry. I have been very fortunate to see Dr Mannem in both her offices and highly recommend Mannem Dentistry!

Dr. Mannem is the best dentist that I have found in Austin. She compares very well with my St. Louis dentist who was on the faculty of Washington University School of Dentisty before it closed. Dr. Mannem performs good quality work and has never tried to "sell" me unneeded procedures. Mostly I just need check-ups and cleaning. She did a very good job on my crown. When I needed two complicated procedures, a root canal and a tooth implant, she made excellent referrals. I have recommended Dr. Mannem to family and friends who were all very favorably impressed with her kindness and attentiveness. I have always gone to her original office on North Lamar which is a pleasant (but not spa-like) location.

About Hygienist: Has always employed good hygenists. The current hygenist is very kind and gentle and her cleanings thorough.

I highly recommend Dr. Mannem and her staff! I have had alot of dental work in the past and need to replace old mercury dental work. I found Dr Mannem caring and inviting. The whole office was great! I was greeted immediately upon my arrival with a warm, smiling Hello from Kim and welcomed by Gina for my initial visit. I was able to ask questions of Dr. Mannem about my treatment options. Her Office Manager Kim explained my insurance plan and my costs in a way I did not feel pressure and was given a complete cost analysis for my records. I was very leary about trying a new dentist and was very happy with the experience at Mannem Dentistry. I found out a large majority of my coworkers( Travis County ) see Dr. Mannem and her wonderful staff! Will recommend to all my friends and family. Small office, very clean, and not far from work.

Dr. Mannem did an amazing job with a root canal and Cerec crown - it was painless, she is extremely skilled and not only does she have the latest technology, she knows how to use it very well! Dr. Mannem and her staff are genuinely nice and down to earth folks, I felt very relaxed and they kept me informed about every step of the procedure. This kind of genuine interest in the patient and empathy is very rare, so I am so thankful that there is a dentists of this caliber in Austin! Highly recommended - it's an absolute joy knowing that you are in such skilled hands.

A year has passed since my last cleaning and checkup and some how I always seemed to get busy when its time for my checkup. The feeling of being in a chair with foreign hands and tools in my mouth, with the sounds of a drill in a distant room, and the unpleasant sight of pictures with what my teeth or gums will look like if I dont take care of my them gets me anxious. Health is always been important to me so I know it time to face my fears in schedule an appointment. I have visited four dentists in the pass and was looking for a change. The last three dentists I have visited had equipment that seemed a little dated, so that was one of the improvements I wanted in my selection. I have moved backed to Austin two years ago and none of my friends had found a dentist that they like, so searching for a new Dentist, I found that Dr. Mannem was voted top Dentist by Austin Monthly Magazine, there was also a link to her website and on her website it states that their number one priority is patient comfort. Okay that sounds like the place for me. I visited the Lakeway practice and was greeted with an open reception area and a friendly smile and hello. This is much different with most offices where the person in the front is usually behind a glass window. Sitting in the reception area I almost forgot I was sitting in a dentist office. When the hygienist brought me to my chair I was amazed by the view. The whole back wall was glass in this office really had breath taking views. Not what Im use to seeing on the walls. The hygienist had soft hands and was very informative. She explained to me proper care and was specific in the areas that I need to address. She was very nice and gentle and made me feel at ease.

During my exam I met with Dr. Mannem and she was also very nice and gentle. Dr. Mannem has a friendly personality in is genuinely concerned about my dental health.

The practice seemed up to date with what appears to be the latest technology.

I highly recommend Dr. Mannem and her staff.

I moved to Texas 2 years ago , leaving a wonderful dentist behind. It took me awhile to find someone I liked. All my family has been seeing Dr. Mannem for about a year. She and all her staff are very gentle and caring. They provide a calm environment. Costs are about average and billing and insurance matters are taken care of by the staff. They're especially good dealing with dental fears.

Dr. Mannem and her staff offer excellent service. I found her front office staff to be welcoming and warm. Her hygienists and dental assistants are patient, gentle and friendly. Dr. Mannem uses clear language and a gentle hand throughout her procedures and will patiently answer questions and address concerns of her patients. My procedures have been pain free and I don't have the typical dread when I think about my next scheduled appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Mannem. She and her staff are mindful of their patient's time and try to accomplish what they can in one visit instead of forcing patients to schedule and reschedule.
